Benjamin Millepied: What's His Next Artistic Venture?

Benjamin Millepied, a prominent figure in contemporary dance, continues to surprise. After directing the Paris Opera Ballet and founding his own company in Los Angeles, he is undertaking ambitious projects, ranging from film and theatre to large-scale public performances.
He recently orchestrated the opening ceremony of the Top 14 final, showcasing his talent for creating spectacular choreographic events. Simultaneously, a radio podcast series chronicles his career, highlighting his challenges and reflections on dance and its place in the world. The choreographer seems increasingly involved in large-scale, publicly accessible projects, exemplified by his upcoming event, "La Ville dansée".
This project, taking place in early June, promises to transform Paris into a giant dance stage with free, ephemeral performances in various iconic locations throughout the capital. Millepied will collaborate with fifteen choreographers from the Île-de-France region for this major event.
